The world in which our children will live and work will require resourcefulness, inquisitiveness, collaborative skills and the ability to deftly access information and knowledge from multiple media. Our community’s enthusiastic support for the Learning Forum has made this campaign priority a reality across all TFS branches, allowing us to give our students every possible advantage for their future success.
The West Campus and Junior School Learning Forum centres are open and the renovations to create Learning Forum spaces at the Senior School and La p’tite école have now begun, all thanks to the generosity of our TFS campaign supporters.
Senior School Learning Forum - Over the summer, the library will be moved to its temporary location in the Student Common, where it will remain until the Senior School Learning Forum is finished in the 2016-2017 academic year. Our senior students asked for quiet study areas as well as collaborative spaces. Once their beautiful new Senior School Learning Forum is open, they will be able to take full advantage of these sought-after features.
La p’tite école - The library and resource support room will be renovated and upgraded over the summer to coincide with the renovations to the lower level classrooms. La p’tite école’s new Learning Forum will be ready in September. With active areas for inquiry, investigation and wonder, along with quiet areas for thinking and exploring technology, it will be a central gathering space for our youngest students.
