Showing our Gratitude for Your Support

October 6, 2015

Soaring Beyond: The Campaign for TFS has been phenomenally successful, thanks to your generous support for our three campaign priorities – the Learning Forum @ TFS, Entrance Scholarships and Program Enrichment. To date, we have surpassed $8 million toward our $9 million goal. Every gift has made a difference! Every gift has brought us a step closer to achieving that goal, and with only one year left in the campaign we want to tell you about our exciting plans to recognize the tremendous contributions made by our TFS families.

Learning Forum openings at West Campus and Junior School, November 2015

We can’t wait to say thank you! This November, we will be unveiling the Learning Forum at both the West Campus and the Junior School at the Toronto Campus.

As part of the opening of the West Campus Learning Forum, we will be cutting the ribbon for the Sprott Family Library, La bibliothèque centre documentaire famille Sprott. We gratefully acknowledge the Sprott family’s leadership support for the West Campus Learning Forum and for their generous support of TFS endeavours over the years. We will also be unveiling a temporary plaque to recognize the contributions of $10,000 and higher from our West Campus families to Soaring Beyond: The Campaign for TFS. A permanent plaque will be installed in its place as part of final Campaign celebrations next fall.

Stay tuned for more details on these special openings.

Senior School Learning Forum and recognition unveilings

At the end of the Campaign next year, we are looking forward to the opening of the Senior School Learning Forum as well as unveiling a very special recognition display and plaques across the Toronto campus. Plans are underway for a recognition display to be located inside the main reception area of the Senior School that will celebrate the spirit of giving at TFS through Soaring Beyond ($10,000+) and cumulative giving ($25,000+), while also showcasing our Alumni of Distinction.

There will also be two special recognition plaques recognizing Learning Forum donors who generously gave $25,000 and higher, which will be located in each of the Senior School and Junior School Learning Forum centres.  Finally, in each of these Learning Forum centres, we will also be unveiling donor room plaques.

When complete, the recognition display and plaques will be permanent, lasting testaments to our donors’ commitment to TFS. This is our way of celebrating and thanking supporters for giving in support of our strategic goals, and for so generously investing in their children’s future.

As you know, TFS donors automatically become members of the Le cercle des philanthropes, our school’s donor giving society. As a member of Le cercle, you are invited to attend donor appreciation events held annually and receive recognition tailored to giving levels starting at $1,500. However, to ensure that we will be able to publicly recognize your family’s gift in support of Soaring Beyond: The Campaign for TFS, contributions need to be confirmed before the Campaign closes next fall.

We hope that you are looking forward to these unveilings as much as we are!
